Mr. Ayers is a seasoned professional who brings decades of commercial real estate experience to the McBride firm.

In 1998, Mr. Ayers became the first partner to sign on with Woodmark Commercial Services, a new company founded by Mr. Ed Beanblossom, as a management entity. During his tenure there, Ayers was the overall top producer for the firm. He handled such benchmark clients as Washington Gas and The Bernstein Cos., and took the lead role in the 1801 K project, which included acquisition, leasing, and disposition.

After 25 years of service in the commercial marketplace Mr. Ayers sold his shares in Woodmark Commercial Services (now a J St Company) in January 2008. Thereafter he took a sabbatical in order to handle family business in South Carolina, where he negotiated the sale of two automobile parts manufacturing plants, and he has taken over a significant real estate portfolio and acquisitions fund. Now returned to his home in Mt Vernon, Va., Mr. Ayers will be resuming his work in Washington.

Prior to Woodmark, Mr. Ayers spent 3 years at the JE Robert Companies before transferring to CB Richard Ellis where he spent 13 years building a solid reputation representing both tenants and Landlords. At CB Richard Ellis, he maintained a diverse client base consisting of law firms, corporate government affairs groups, and associations, in addition to both corporate and local landlords.

Our size is our strength. The core of MRES remains small on purpose. Having worked for companies of various sizes in our past professional lives, we have found that a strong, small team with complementary skill sets is able to provide the best services and maintain the best relationships with our clients. However, our core size does not limit the depth of our services. Rather than having a large organization with weak links in several service areas, we are able to provide the best professionals for every phase of a project through our strategic alliances. MRES is able to support our clients with the resources of almost 200 employees for all key planning, transaction and implementation areas as described in Our Services. Furthermore, we are able to flexibly staff a project in any location utilizing the ideal team to deliver the customized solution.

In our hearts, MRES is a Tenant Representation firm first and foremost. That being said, we provide a full complement of real estate services to support our tenant clients. These include: representing our clients in the acquisition and disposition of leased and owned facilities, lease audits, lease administration, strategic planning, enterprise integration and project management for a wide variety of real estate projects.
