Joshua M. Cramer is a strategic real estate consultant in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. Mr. Cramer focuses on the representation of not-for-profit organizations, associations and government affairs offices.

Mr. Cramer has successfully completed more than 750,000 square feet of real estate assignments, encompassing a wide range of transaction types. His practice includes assisting clients with strategic real estate planning, lease renewals, the restructuring of existing leases, negotiation of new leases and the sale and acquisition of commercial buildings. Mr. Cramer’s expertise within the not-for-profit field has led to ongoing relationships with organizations such as Pew Research Center, National Crime Prevention Council, Land Trust Alliance, Wider Opportunities for Women and GAVI Alliance, The Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation.

Prior to joining McBride Real Estate Services, Mr. Cramer was a Senior Vice President with West, Lane & Schlager Realty Advisors. With them, he spent spent 14 years providing real estate consulting services to tenants in the Washington, DC region. In addition, Mr. Cramer created and directed both the internship and junior broker training programs.

Before entering the real estate community, Mr. Cramer worked as director of personnel and transportation for Atlantic Valet, Inc. As Personnel Director, he oversaw hiring, training and supervision of staff. This experience easily enabled him to easily analyze and aggressively negotiate on behalf of clients.

Mr. Cramer obtained a both a master’s degree in secondary education, preceded by a bachelor’s degree in political science from The George Washington University.

Mr. Cramer is an active member of the Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors, the District of Columbia Building Industry Association, the Non-Profit Roundtable, and the Finance & Administrative Roundtable.

Our partners’ backgrounds include work in the legal, financial, construction and architecture sectors, plus an average real estate experience level exceeding 10 years. The advantages MRES clients enjoy are: customized solutions, access to the best professionals for every phase of a project and the personal attention of the company’s principals.

Our size is our strength. The core of MRES remains small on purpose. Having worked for companies of various sizes in our past professional lives, we have found that a strong, small team with complementary skill sets is able to provide the best services and maintain the best relationships with our clients. However, our core size does not limit the depth of our services. Rather than having a large organization with weak links in several service areas, we are able to provide the best professionals for every phase of a project through our strategic alliances. MRES is able to support our clients with the resources of almost 200 employees for all key planning, transaction and implementation areas as described in Our Services. Furthermore, we are able to flexibly staff a project in any location utilizing the ideal team to deliver the customized solution.

In our hearts, MRES is a Tenant Representation firm first and foremost. That being said, we provide a full complement of real estate services to support our tenant clients. These include: representing our clients in the acquisition and disposition of leased and owned facilities, lease audits, lease administration, strategic planning, enterprise integration and project management for a wide variety of real estate projects.
